The creative works resulting from this project explore film as either a designed art form or as spaces, conditions and communities. Using the medium of film, they employ a variety of techniques such as editing and mixing to juxtapose visual and audio material and to deconstruct narratives. Their intention is not to represent ‘reality’ but to stimulate an awareness of contemporary conditions. They present emotional responses to social or political situations, and reflections on global and local concerns.
